As a mother tongue, it is the second most widely spoken language in the world. It is spoken by 40 million people in Spain and in 43 countries in 5 continents. Spanish is one of official languages of the United States.
For us Israelis, learning Spanish is relatively easy. Many young people have spent time in South America and picked up some Spanish, many watch South American soap operas and many have grown up in a Spanish or Ladino speaking home.

Gabriela made Aliyah from Caracas, Venezuela, where she was born. She is a Biology student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Gabriela has worked as a personal tutor in diverse areas of study and with several types of students, including children with attention difficulties, high school students, and elders. She has also worked as a counselor in youth movements and summer camps. She loves reading, walking around the city and listening to music. Gabriela has plenty of patience and is very organized. She teaches Spanish to people of all ages and in every level.
